Crispy Tuaran Mee kept its crunch under the seafood gravy, and the juicy roast meats were another highlight. We liked the clean, air-conditioned setting, though the plating was not especially attractive.
Peak House Diner at Lido Plaza 2 gave us a comfortable setting for a meal with family or friends. It felt clean and modern, with air-conditioning that made it easy to settle in. That was a positive first impression, although the food’s presentation was less polished than the surroundings.
The Crispy Tuaran Mee was one of the dishes we enjoyed most. The noodle base kept its crispness even after the seafood gravy was poured over it. That contrast was the point for us: we could enjoy the gravy without immediately losing the crunch that made this version of Tuaran Mee appealing.
The roast meats were another strong part of the meal. We tried roast duck and Sasau, or Char Siew, and liked their juicy texture and glossy, flavourful finish. The balance between meat and fat worked well for us. These were dishes we were happy to keep going back to across the table.
Chicken stir-fried with bamboo shoots had a familiar, home-style flavour. It was a quieter positive beside the crispy noodles and roast meats, but still contributed to our enjoyment. The egg fried rice also came with good wok hei, giving another part of the meal a satisfying aroma.
Our main criticism was the plating. The dishes did not look especially attractive when they arrived. That did not erase the textures and flavours we liked, but it is still part of our impression rather than something to gloss over.
For the food we ate, the Crispy Tuaran Mee and roast meats were the standouts. We would remember this visit for those dishes and the comfortable room, with presentation being the clearest area where the meal could have made a better impression.

Lido Plaza 2 的满堂，给我们的第一印象是干净、现代，有冷气，坐下来和家人朋友吃一餐蛮舒服。环境是加分项，只是食物上桌时的卖相，没有空间本身那么讨喜。
这餐很喜欢香脆斗亚兰面。海鲜芡汁淋上去后，面底仍然保留脆脆的口感，不会马上整盘变软。我们喜欢的就是这种一边有芡汁、一边还能吃到脆度的对比。
烧味也表现不错。烧鸭和 Sasau，也就是叉烧，吃起来多汁、有光泽，味道够，肉和脂肪的比例也合我们口味。几样菜放在一起，这两款是会让我们继续夹的。
竹笋炒鸡肉比较有家常味，是熟悉、舒服的路线。它没有抢过脆面和烧味的风头，但我们也喜欢。蛋炒饭则吃得到镬气，香味有到位，整餐不只是靠一两道菜撑着。
要挑明显的缺点，就是摆盘。几道菜的呈现不算特别吸引，第一眼没有让人惊艳。味道和口感喜欢归喜欢，卖相这点还是要照实说。
如果要从这餐选最推荐的，我们会选香脆斗亚兰面和烧味。舒服的冷气环境也适合聚餐；至于食物呈现，若能再用心一点，整体印象会更完整。
