Lai Lou Fah was our pick at Crowd99 Imago, with refreshing coconut flavour and smooth jelly. Mango Pomelo had plenty of fruit, but the syrup tasted somewhat artificial to us.

After lunch at TUK TUK, we stopped at Crowd99 in Imago for dessert. We would normally consider Froyo, but this time we went for shaved ice and tried two contrasting flavours.

Lai Lou Fah, the coconut milk jelly dessert, was the one we preferred. Its smooth, slippery texture was refreshing, while the coconut flavour felt natural and not overly sweet. The coconut toppings went nicely with it, making this the more convincing dessert for us.

Mango Pomelo had a generous amount of mango and fruit, which we appreciated. The syrup or mango sauce was less successful. It tasted somewhat artificial to our palate, so the fruit quantity alone did not make it our favourite.

At the time of our visit, Crowd99 felt like a more affordable alternative to premium shaved-ice or Bingsu places such as Brown Cafe. That was our value impression on this occasion, rather than a claim about today’s prices.

We also noticed savoury options such as Prawn Mee and Nyonya Laksa on the menu, but this was a dessert stop and we did not review those mains. If choosing between the two desserts we ate, we would go back to Lai Lou Fah for its refreshing texture and gentler coconut flavour.

Crowd99 Imago 这次我们会选 Lai Lou Fah，椰香自然，奶冻滑溜又清爽。Mango Pomelo 的水果给得不少，不过酱汁味对我们来说有点人工感。

在 TUK TUK 吃完午餐后，我们到 Imago 的 Crowd99 找甜品。平时可能会考虑 Froyo，这次换个选择，吃了刨冰，也比较了两款不同口味。

两款之中，我们比较喜欢 Lai Lou Fah 奶露花。椰奶冻滑溜溜的，吃起来清爽，椰香自然，不会甜得腻口。配上椰子类的配料，整体很顺口，也是这次我们更愿意再选的一款。

Mango Pomelo 的芒果和水果分量不少，这一点有加分。不过酱汁的味道对我们来说带点人工感，芒果酱或糖浆味没有那么自然，所以即使水果给得多，也没有赢过奶露花。

以当时那次消费的感觉，Crowd99 比 Brown Cafe 这类较高价的 Bingsu 店更亲民。这是当时的个人价值感受，并不是现在的价格比较。

菜单上也看到了虾面、Nyonya Laksa 等咸食，不过我们这次是来吃甜品，并没有尝试那些主食。如果在这次吃过的两款之间选，我们会要椰味自然、口感清爽的 Lai Lou Fah。
