Tender chicken and a fragrant Mongolia sauce made this a decent meal, but slightly undercooked rice took some enjoyment away.
A recommendation brought us to Uncle Lok Kitchen while we were nearby collecting a J&T parcel. This was the stall at HM Penampang, also known as Seasons Food Court, so it was a convenient chance to try the chicken rice.
We ordered Drumsticks Rice and Mongolia Chicken Rice. Both were RM10 at the time of this meal. Those are historical prices from our experience, rather than a guide to what the stall charges today.
The chicken was tender, which was the stronger part of the meal. The Mongolia Chicken Rice also had a sauce we enjoyed: fragrant and tasty, with enough appeal to make that plate a pleasant choice.
The rice was the main disappointment. It was slightly undercooked during our visit, and that mattered in a meal built around chicken and rice. Even with tender chicken and a sauce we liked, the rice made the overall experience somewhat less enjoyable.
We came away thinking the food was decent. The chicken gave us something to like, particularly with the Mongolia sauce, but the rice held this visit back. That balance is how we remember the meal, without turning it into an exceptional recommendation.

鸡肉嫩，蒙古鸡的酱汁也香，不过这次米饭稍微夹生，影响了整餐的享受。整体不错，但没有到特别推荐的程度。
那天在附近领取 J&T 包裹，想到有人推荐过骆记海南鸡饭，就顺道到 HM Penampang，也就是 Seasons Food Court 试试。
我们点了鸡腿饭和蒙古鸡饭，当时各 RM10。这是那次用餐的价钱，并不是现在的菜单价格。
鸡肉吃起来嫩，是这餐比较满意的部分。蒙古鸡饭的酱汁也蛮香，味道讨喜，搭着鸡肉吃有加分。
可惜米饭稍微夹生。鸡饭少不了饭的口感，这次即使鸡肉不错，蒙古酱汁也好吃，米饭还是让整餐少了一点享受。
整体来说是不错的一餐，但没有特别惊艳。我们记得鸡肉的嫩和蒙古酱汁的香，也会保留这次米饭稍微影响体验的感受。
