Lucky’s beef noodles had a familiar, nostalgic pull for us, with more beef and a fuller broth than the childhood instant-noodle memory they evoked. Xiao long bao, dumplings and twice-cooked pork were other recurring orders.
Lucky Noodle House was one of the places that naturally came to mind when we craved this kind of beef noodle soup.
The beef noodles had a strangely familiar pull from our first experience. They reminded us emotionally of childhood memories of beef-flavour instant noodles. That comparison is about nostalgia: the feeling of a familiar meal returning to mind, rather than a claim that the dish literally tastes like instant noodles.
The actual bowl offered more beef and a fuller, richer broth. Those were part of the enjoyment in front of us, alongside the memory it brought back. The beef noodles became the main recurring attraction, the order we naturally thought of when that craving returned.
We also regularly ordered takeaway. Xiao long bao and dumplings were natural choices when we wanted smaller dishes alongside the meal. They were good additions rather than a reason to lose sight of the beef noodles.
Twice-cooked pork was another strong favourite. We especially liked it with rice, making it a different sort of comfort-food order from the noodle bowl.
For us, Lucky’s appeal was personal and familiar. The beef noodles brought the nostalgic feeling, while soup buns, dumplings and twice-cooked pork gave us other orders we were happy to return to. That combination explains why it stayed among our comfort-food choices.

那份熟悉，让我们想起小时候牛肉味快熟面的记忆。这里说的是怀旧的感觉，并不是说这碗面真的和快熟面同一种味道。实际吃到的牛肉更多，汤头也更丰富、更浓郁，眼前这一碗本身就有吸引力。
牛肉面一直是主要的回头理由。那种熟悉感，让人有时还没决定吃什么，就已经先想到它。
我们也经常打包。小笼包和饺子是很自然会加点的小食，想在主食之外多吃一点时，都是不错的选择。
回锅肉则是另一道很喜欢的菜，尤其配白饭吃，很合适。和牛肉汤面相比，是另一种让人满足的家常选择。
对我们来说，吉祥吸引人的地方带着个人感情。牛肉面唤起怀旧记忆，小笼包、饺子和回锅肉则让回访多了其他想点的东西。熟悉、吃得舒服，所以会一直想到它。
