Meaty crab and rich, naturally sweet milky clam soup were the standouts of our family meal at Borneo Seafood. The spacious, grand setting suited a larger gathering, with the rest of the dishes generally solid too.
We visited Borneo Seafood at Hilltop with family for a large seafood meal. The restaurant felt spacious and more grand than a simple everyday seafood stop, which suited the larger family gathering we had in mind.
The live seafood tanks were a noticeable part of the setting, with prawns, lobsters, fish and other premium choices on display. It gave us plenty to look at before the food reached the table.
Crab was one of the clearest highlights. We found it fresh and meaty, with a satisfying amount of flesh. Among the dishes from this meal, it was one we kept coming back to in our overall impression.
The milky clam soup was the other standout. Its rich broth had a natural sweetness, and the clams were large and meaty. We liked both the soup itself and how substantial the clams felt, making it more than just a light bowl alongside the other seafood.
The rest of the seafood and household dishes were generally solid and consistent during this visit. We also noted private or VIP rooms at the time, which added to the sense that the restaurant could work for a larger family occasion.
Our table spent approximately RM1,000 on that meal. That is the historical total for our own gathering, not a minimum spend or a statement of current prices. For us, the memorable parts were the crab, clam soup and the comfortable amount of space for eating together.

这次和家人到 Hilltop 海鲜城，吃的是一桌比较丰盛的海鲜餐。店里很宽敞，整体感觉也比较气派，适合我们这种人数较多的家庭聚餐。
现场有活海鲜缸，能看到虾、龙虾、鱼和其他较高级的海鲜选择。对来吃海鲜的一家人来说，点菜前也有不少东西可以看看。
螃蟹是这次很明显的亮点。吃起来新鲜，肉厚，拆开后有实实在在的满足感。回想这一桌，螃蟹是我们会特别提起的一道。
另一个很喜欢的是奶白蛤蜊汤。汤浓，带自然甜味，蛤蜊也大颗、肉厚。我们喜欢的不只是汤底，而是连蛤蜊本身也吃得满足，不会只是喝一碗配汤。
其他海鲜和家常菜整体也稳妥，没有让这餐失去水准。当时店里还有私人包厢或 VIP 房，和它宽敞、适合聚餐的感觉相符。
我们那桌当时大约消费 RM1,000，这是这一次家庭聚餐的总额，不代表现在的价格，也不是来这里必须花到的数目。真正让我们记得的，还是螃蟹、蛤蜊汤，以及大家能舒服坐在一起吃饭的空间。
