Hot porridge in an air-conditioned room made the Hilltop visit especially comfortable. We enjoyed both bowls, with Century Egg Pork Porridge our personal pick.
We visited Uncle Lim Hong Kong Porridge at its then-new Hilltop branch, separate from the Wisma Merdeka outlet. One immediate advantage was the air-conditioned indoor setting. Eating a hot bowl of porridge felt much more comfortable on a warm day.
We ordered Century Egg Pork Porridge and Prawn Ball Porridge. Both were good during this visit, though the Century Egg Pork Porridge was the one we personally preferred. If choosing between the two bowls we tried, that would be our pick.
Our overall impression of the food was similar to what we knew from Wisma Merdeka. That was a reassuring comparison from this particular visit, rather than a promise that every meal at both outlets will be identical.
The opening-period organisation also left a positive impression. Queue numbers were used, and menus were already on the tables. At the time, we needed to remember our table number, then order and pay at the counter. The process felt well organised for a branch in its early days, and the staff were friendly. Prices were nett then.
Sliced Beef & Egg Porridge seemed to sell out relatively quickly during that opening period. We did not try it, so there is no taste verdict from us. There were also snacks, noodles and drinks on the menu.
For us, the strongest memory was a good bowl of porridge in a comfortable indoor space. Century Egg Pork Porridge was our preferred order. The queue system, ordering steps and pricing notes belong to that visit and may have changed since.

Hilltop 店有冷气，天气热时吃热粥也舒服。这次皮蛋瘦肉粥和虾丸粥都不错，我们自己更喜欢皮蛋瘦肉粥。
这次到的是当时新开的 Uncle Lim 香港粥 Hilltop 分店，并不是 Wisma Merdeka 店。最直接的优点是室内有冷气，天气热时坐下来吃热粥，舒服很多。
我们点了皮蛋瘦肉粥和虾丸粥，两碗都不错。若要选一碗，我们自己更偏爱皮蛋瘦肉粥，也是这次会优先推荐的选择。
整体吃下来，觉得和以前在 Wisma Merdeka 吃到的水准相近。这只是那次到访的比较感受，不能当成两间分店每一餐都会完全一样的保证。
开业初期的安排也给我们不错的印象。有排队号码，桌上放好菜单。当时要先记住桌号，再到柜台点餐和付款，流程安排得蛮好，员工也友善。那时价格是 nett，以上都是当时的情况。
牛肉滑蛋粥在开业期间似乎蛮快卖完，不过我们没吃到，就不评价味道。菜单另外还有小食、面类和饮品。
这次最喜欢的，是能在有冷气的环境里舒服吃一碗粥。皮蛋瘦肉粥更合我们口味；点餐方式和价格细节，则仍要以之后到访时的安排为准。
