Grilled Chicken Chop with Mantou was the surprise standout at Voo’s, with juicy chicken, fluffy bread and a homemade sauce that worked well together. The pork and peanut pau were decent, but left a smaller impression.
Recommendations brought us to Voo’s Delicious Pau in Bundusan. During the visit, we realised we had actually ordered from this business during the MCO period, so it was a familiar name in a different setting.
The shop felt comfortable, with a slightly more modern, upmarket feel than a traditional pau stall. At the time, we also felt the pricing was a little higher than the old-school kopitiam versions we were used to.
The pork pau was decent and fairly standard to our taste. Our personal preference still leaned towards the more traditional style from the Lido corner stall. That was a matter of what we enjoy, rather than a claim that this version was poor. The peanut pau was fine too, without becoming the main reason we would return.
The surprise was Grilled Chicken Chop with Mantou. The chicken was tender, juicy and savoury, while the mantou was soft and fluffy. With the homemade sauce, the combination worked especially well and became the dish we most wanted to tell people about.
We also noticed curry chicken, dim sum and zongzi on the menu, but did not review them as dishes we had eaten. From this visit, our recommendation would start with the chicken chop and mantou, even though it was the pau shop’s name that initially drew us in.

邬氏包子铺这次意外惊喜是香煎鸡扒配馒头，鸡肉嫩、多汁，馒头松软，自制酱汁也搭得好。猪肉包和花生包都不错，但没有鸡扒馒头那么突出。
听了别人的推荐，我们来到 Bundusan 的邬氏包子铺。坐下来才想起，原来 MCO 期间已经向他们订过东西，这次算是换个方式再认识这家店。
店里舒服，比传统包点摊多一点现代、精致的感觉。当时的价钱，我们也觉得比旧式 kopitiam 包点摊高一些。
猪肉包吃起来不错，不过对我们来说比较中规中矩。自己还是偏爱 Lido 街角那种更老派的包点风格，这只是个人喜好，不是说这里的不好。花生包也稳妥，但都不是整餐最有记忆点的部分。
真正意外惊喜的是香煎鸡扒配馒头。鸡肉嫩、有汁，也有咸香，馒头则松软。加上自制酱汁，整套搭起来很合我们口味，反而成了这次最想推荐的一样。
菜单上另外看到了咖喱鸡、点心和粽子，不过没有把它们当成吃过来评价。这次如果要给一个实际尝过的推荐，我们会先提鸡扒馒头，再来才是表现不错但没有特别突出的包点。
